We had the most unpleasant vacation the bus tour was 99.95 percent Chinese speaking travelers, we were the only 3 speaking English guess and when we boarded the bus in Los Angeles the tour Guide operator was very rude to us. We had hard tim..es understanding him because his English was hard to understand him. During the trip the tour guide and the Chinese people were not very friendly to us. The tour guide gave us rules not to use the bathroom nor eat in the bus; however, I noticed that the rules were only for us not for the Chinese people because I noticed that the Chinese were using the bathroom and eating in the bus. Many times the tour guide didn't translated so we have no idea what he was saying. I felt that we were discriminate in this tour because we didn't speak Chinese. It was a very unpleasant feeling being in this bus. I wrote an email to "Tours4fun" I never got a reply from them and the customer service is very lousy. It appears to me that they are focusing more on the Chinese tourist then any other race. I will not recommend this tour.Read full review
The tour has so much to offer. It was fun.The tour guide gave lot of useful info. The time given at Golden gate bridge was not enough. We had to rush.I suggest that one hour time should be given for this.

It was pretty good experience at all. We visited all places that we expected. Bus was new and comfortable, and driver was great. Our hotel was clean and nice. We also enjoyed swimming in pool. Our tour guide ( Tony Thung) spoke English pret..ty bad and mostly time he was speaking Chinese. And we paid some unexpected charges( 25 dollars city guide in San Francisco, its not worth it. 21 dollars servise fee ( 7 per day) and 15 dollars for yosemite tour. And we spent so little time in yosemite we stoped near El Capitan just for 20 minutes then we stoped near restaurant for about hour and spent 15 minute in tunnel view.Read full review

The tour guide did not speak English very well. He always stopped at Chinese restaurants and we asked him to stop at other restaurants but he did not, The hotel in Silicon Valley was not high quality, it was dirty and not very clean. The se..cond hotel (near Yosemite) was better than the first hotel. The different sites we went to were very nice. The Palace in San Francisco was very nice. And, Solvang and Yosemite were very nice.Read full review
My wife and I decided to take my mom and sister to SF for their first time. We were hesitant to go with this tour because we were afraid that the tour guide would speak broken English. To our surprise, Kevin, our guide, spoke English well. ..He was informative about major touristy points and is very nice. We were late a few times getting back to the bus, and he was very patient and nice about it. Hotels that we stayed at was the Holiday Inn (1st night) and the Comfort Inn (2nd night). The rooms were alright, better than we'd expected. Overall, everything was fantastic. Except for our bus driver, Sunday. There were plenty of times that she slammed on the brakes really hard, causing everyone to slide forward in their seats. Also, the only thing I would have left out in the itinerary was the stop at UC Berkley. Pretty boring there.Read full review

Ray and the driver were very helpful and patient with the customers. Ray explained the tour in details and he was always very nice and friendly. The driver is experienced and safe. I highly recommend the tour.
I would have love to stay longer in one place when we stop. The places we visited are wonderful and beautiful. This is the second time I've used the tour. The tour guide we had is very professional and pleasant. We had minor spat in the bus.. with the passenger causing delay going home but overall, I'm very happy with the tour. I would use the company again and again, it's inexpensive and convenient. I also want to say that people are not so considerate when it comes to smoking, I wish that they would let people know to smoke farther away from the bus not in front of the door.Read full review
We paid over $500 per one person and on the first day we were forced to pay extra money (about $236) for visiting some main locations, that were included in tour. Why it wasn’t included in that $500?! What are we paid for? Also rooms were.. poor and we saw a cockroach. There was no fridge, microwave and teapot in Las Vegas. There was not enough time to see locations and sometimes there was less time that was in schedule.Read full review
We marvel at of the most iconic views of all time along the tour. It was led by an excellent tour guide who was enthusiastic, informative and supportive.
We were a family of five from New Zealand - we took this Tour 25/9. I wasn't quite sure what to expect as i had read reviews that weren't that great but i thought i'd give it a go. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the tour was run. Ou..r Tour was with Seagull Tours (they don't give you this information until you book which means that you can't review this Tour Company), Tour Guide was Chris, Driver was Robert. Robert was a very safe driver and a lovely quiet man. Chris was funny but a good tour guide even with his limited english. I knew before i took the Tour that the Guide might/might not have good english. Very long hours in the bus, but this is to be expected considering the distances travelled. Late check-ins both nights and early departures but again, this is to be expected given the distances covered. The first night Hotel was Holiday Inn which was excellent, the second night Ramada Merced which was a 2 Star. I was pleased that optional tours were in fact 'optional' as we didn't do the in-depth tour. However, be careful that you get back to the meeting point on time should you depart from the main Tour Group to do your owning exploring of San Francisco. I think that SeaGull Tours could improve their service by giving customers a full itinerary at least 2 days before departure. It would be nice to see where we are staying prior to departure and to have a more detailed itinerary with times as to when we arrive in San Francisco etc etc. NB: If i had this info then i would have known that i would have had time to visit Alcatraz the Island (would of had plenty time to do this so long as you don't do the in-depth tour). If SeaGull Tours were to provide this information then that would be excellent. Enjoyed visiting Santa Barbara, Solvang, San Francisco & the Bay Cruise was excellent and Yosemite was absolutely beautiful. We had to change buses for our return to Los Angeles and i just wanted to say that the Tour Guide for the bus i changed to was very helpful (made a phone call to my Hotel for me because we were running late and i wanted to advise the Hotel accordingly). Also, i was lucky to get a drop off different to my pick up so thank you SeaGull Tours. I thoroughly enjoyed this Tour and would highly recommend to friends and family. I rate this Tour a 4/5 for good value for money. Kia Ora !Read full review
